The activitiy on first 4 weeks
  • Play AMONG US and GOOSE GOOSE DUCK together And analyse what's the pros and cons of every game and artstyles
  • Compile the observations of both games and present it on the week 4
  • the apealing and visual asthetics that cna be applied
  • visual elements and interactions that could use improvement
  • experiences that makes those game interesting in both games
  • visual elements and interactions that could use improvement
  • After presentation, based of the initial findings, continue with the design process to determine the best stylisation for your re-make
  • consider the project's limitation where the new art direction strategy does not alter the original narrative plots and game mechanics
Task for Week 5:
Determine the best stylisation to fit with AMONG US narrative for your group to work on
Compile the factors for stylisation range in Google SlideRefer to the content in lecture for details of factors to consider

After compiling, we come up with this presentation. This presentation aims for finding the best way possible in improving this game and also to keep in track with the choosen artstyles.

PROPOSAL
The crewmates in Among Us' multiverse are all Australian kangaroos. Using a kangaroo costume or disguise, the impostor, a spider, has infiltrated the spaceship where the kangaroos are hiding. The spaceship crashes due to sabotage by the imposter(s). As engineers, all of the crew members must repair a spacecraft that has crashed in order to return to Australia.

CHARACTER DESIGN
We decided to each create a character design and cast our votes for the best idea after having a group discussion. For this one i made 5 of it, 4 of the styles is used to guide me gaining the best combination of realism and chibi artstyles also i decidied to make the middle one as the final and considered that it looked serious is inline with out art directions.

Inspired by woods and old cartoon, also the rough edge was representing a goosebumps feeling while seeing spiders.

All of my art is directed by the theme and by the approval from miss anis, that keep us in track. These art is based on woodlands or australian rainforrest, all of the color i got it from the agreed color palette and i make it wood colored. The title i make it a bit smooth and less sketchy, and it turns out great and blend with the UI.
